XTKGet XTK
Chrome & Firefox extension for Xero Practice Manager

The missing half of Practice Manager.

XTK adds document management, e-signatures, client portals and template automation to XPM — in a panel that opens right inside it, backed by your practice's own Google Drive or OneDrive.

Free trial for your whole practice. Set up in minutes.

How it works

From install to in-context in minutes

XTK rides along with the XPM tab your team already has open — it reads client details live from your authenticated Xero session.

  1. 1

    Install the extension

Add XTK to Chrome or Firefox. An XTK launcher appears in XPM's own navigation — nothing else to deploy.

    Getting started
  2. 2

    Connect your Drive

Link your practice's Google Drive or OneDrive. XTK creates one tidy folder per client and keeps everything inside it.

    Connect your storage
  3. 3

    Open any client

The panel slides in with that client's files, signatures, portal and templates — no tab switching, no copy-pasting names.

Features

One panel, the whole client workflow

Everything below happens against the client you have open in XPM — files, signatures, portals and templates stay in context.

Document management, in your Drive

Browse, upload, rename, move and favourite client files. Merge PDFs and convert DOCX to PDF without leaving the panel — every file lives in the client's own folder in your Google Drive or OneDrive.

E-signatures

Signed, sealed, filed — without the per-envelope bill

Send DocuSign-style signature requests straight from a client's folder. The finished document lands back in the same folder, certified.

  • 1

    Place fields on the PDF

Signature, initials, text, date and checkbox fields — assigned per recipient, with signing order if you need it.

  • 2

    Clients sign from a link

Recipients open a secure tokenized link and sign on an XTK-owned page. No downloads, no accounts, no passwords.

  • 3

    Get a certified document

XTK flattens the signed PDF and files it with a Certificate of Completion and a full audit trail of every event.

Built on your Drive

Your files stay in your Drive

XTK is a layer over storage you already own and trust — not another silo to migrate into or out of.

  • Your storage, your ownership

XTK connects to your practice's Google Drive or OneDrive and works on your files where they already sit. A download, zip or merge streams bytes through our backend in the moment, but nothing is written to disk or kept in our database — and portal shares are markers, not duplicates.

  • A strict containment guarantee

Every storage call is checked on our server before your provider is called, so it can only act inside the current client's folder. That limit is our own code, not a setting we ask you to trust Google with.

  • Access you control

One admin per practice, member management, and an access state that can lock the whole toolkit to read-only in one switch.

FAQ

Questions practices ask us

Where do my files live?

In your practice's own Google Drive or OneDrive, in one folder per client. XTK operates on them in place: operations that need a document engine — downloads, zips, PDF merges, generating from a template — stream the bytes through our backend in flight, but nothing is written to disk or kept in our database, and portal shares are markers pointing at your files, not duplicates.

How XTK handles your data
Do my clients need an account?

Not for signing or uploading. Signature requests and document requests work through secure one-off links. The client portal is the one surface with a login, for clients you invite to an ongoing document exchange.

Set up the client portal
Which browsers does XTK support?

Chrome and Firefox. Install the extension, open Xero Practice Manager, and the XTK launcher appears in XPM's navigation.

Getting started with XTK
How does XTK read my client data?

Live from the XPM tab you already have open, using your own authenticated Xero session. XTK doesn't hold a copy of your client database on its servers.

Privacy Policy
Does the whole practice share one setup?

Yes. Your practice connects one Drive and one billing subscription; every team member you invite works against the same client folders, templates and portals.
